How does the valuation work?+
Enter your van's registration and mileage and we'll look up the vehicle and generate a price using live trade data. It only takes a few seconds, and there's no obligation to sell.
Is the valuation free?+
Yes — getting a valuation is completely free, and so is the appointment at our depot. There are no fees to sell your van to us.
What if my registration isn't recognised?+
Occasionally we can't generate an instant figure for a particular registration. If that happens we'll prepare a manual valuation by hand — just call us and we'll value your van over the phone in minutes.
What's the difference between VAT qualifying and the margin scheme?+
If a van is VAT qualifying, the price is shown net and VAT is added on top (so a VAT-registered seller can reclaim it). Under the VAT margin scheme there's no separate VAT charged. We confirm which applies to your sale before you complete.
How accurate is the online figure?+
The online figure is based on the details you provide and assumes the van is in good condition with full documentation. The final offer is confirmed after a quick, free inspection at our depot — if the van matches, the price stands.
How and when do I get paid?+
We pay by bank transfer to an account in your name, and aim to release payment the same day once the sale is complete and our checks are satisfied. When the funds arrive can depend on your bank.
What should I bring to my appointment?+
Please bring the vehicle, your V5C logbook, service history, both sets of keys, photo ID and proof of address, plus any outstanding finance details. This lets us verify everything and complete on the spot.
How long is my offer valid?+
Your offer is valid for 7 days. If it expires, just get in touch and we'll refresh it for you.
What if I still owe finance on the van?+
That's fine — we deal with outstanding finance all the time. Any agreed settlement is handled as part of the transaction; just bring your finance details to the appointment.
